Hello everyone!
We have a few more prayer requests as we are almost at the one-month mark before our trip:
- Financial Support - We still have some team members who need to raise a little more funds for the trip.
- Ebenezer Church in Montero - This is the church which we will be working with to reach their community and start discipleship groups in the surrounding community
- Pastor Mario Hinojosa - Pastor Mario is the pastor for the church that we will be partnering with in the community.
- Cotoca and St. Rosita Neighborhoods - These are the two neighborhoods where we will be working to start discipleship groups.
I know it has been a while since we updated the blog; however, God has been working in mighty ways over the past several weeks.
We were going to purchase our tickets last Wednesday at a price of $920 per person. As I was purchasing the tickets and entering the credit card information to reserve the tickets at this price, my web browser ‘timed out,’ and American Airline’s website required meto reenter all of the information again. This was a long 10-15 minute process, which I was definitely not thrilled completing the forms again.
As I completed the reservation form and selected the flights, the new per person total came up - $845. The price for our tickets changed $75 in price within 15 minutes, saving our team about $750!
It amazes me how God continues to provide again and again as we prepare to go and share the gospel with the Bolivian people.
